It’s not like Taos is a secret, but it’s generally not the place you’ll find booze-fueled bachelorette parties, if you catch our drift. It also has a thriving arts community, historic adobe buildings, and New Age wellness-focused activities such as tarot card readings. The low-key El Pueblo Lodge is a short walk to shops, galleries, and restaurants, and a short drive to Taos Mountain Casino and Taos Ski Valley.

Love cold-weather pursuits? Park City is the perfect escape for those keen on hitting the slopes. Not big on skiing? Not a problem. Go for a gondola ride and marvel at the gorgeous views.
